Dr. Malek Alshammari is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee surgery. He graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), completed orthopedic board training, and then pursued three advanced fellowships in Canada.
Canadian Fellowships
His fellowship pathway included Hip & Knee Arthroplasty at McGill University / Jewish General Hospital, Hip & Knee Arthroplasty at the University of British Columbia, and Reconstructive Hip & Knee Arthroscopy and Sports Surgery at UBC.
Scope of Practice
His practice spans primary and revision total hip and knee arthroplasty, hip arthroscopy, knee arthroscopy, ACL/PCL and collateral ligament reconstruction, multiligament knee surgery, patellar instability procedures and high tibial osteotomy.
